Trevor Goddard 1962-2003
They say if you can make at least one “true friend”, who you can trust with your life, then you’re a lucky man. Trevor and I were best friends and brothers in every sense of the word. This page was created because Trevor contributed much to my life, and others as well. This page is not about his career in the industry, but rather a place for my friend to be remembered.
We met at a time when we were both struggling and swore to ride the Hollywood "roller-coaster" together. We would keep each other centered, while this crazy town spun around us. We supported each other through the good times and the bad. We camped, sang, got drunk, celebrated life, laughed and cried together (and man, did we laugh). Trevor was an extremely colorful individual, whose personality was always larger than life. Behind the image was a sensitive and very kind man, who deeply loved his family and did his best to hang on, to a career that eventually surpassed his ability to handle it.
To say he will be missed is a severe understatement. The loss of my best friend took me out of the game for a few years (it isn't fun riding a roller-coaster alone), and it has taken me this long to finally come to terms with his passing. The brass cross I wear was a gift he gave to me long ago... At the time it was just a small gesture, but this small item soon became an invaluable reminder of how rare such a true friendship is.
His memory, his accomplishments, his personality and his friendship shall not be forgotten.
